Abstract
The ADAAA holds much promise for addressing disability discrimination. The articles in this symposium offer valuable insights for implementing the ADAAA to allow it to achieve its purpose of enlarging the protected class of individuals with disabilities. They also identify issues outside the civil rights framework that must be addressed to allow meaningful social and civic participation by individuals with disabilities. This symposium will serve as a useful reference for judges, law- and policy-makers, legal academics, and students, as implementation of the ADAAA continues.
