Abstract
Today is a day for reminiscing. My kids have made it clear to me that retro is in-bellbottoms, peace symbols, even capri pants are in vogue. If you haven't heard a punk-rock band playing Beach Boy hits, you may be missing the paradigm of current culture. My role here is to contribute to the reminiscence of Walter Oberer from the perspective of one who came into the middle of Walter's act. And to emphasize that it truly was his show.
