Abstract
The CleanFlicks case could rewrite copyright and trademark law. The complex case involves sixteen prominent film directors and their collectivebargaining agency, the DGA, thirteen individuals and companies that remove profanity, nudity, sex, and violence from motion pictures, and eight widely recognized motion-picture studios.
